SHAH ALAM, Feb 24 — The Klang Royal City Council (MBDK) issued seven compounds to four business premises during inspections in the city centre yesterday.
According to MBDK, a total of 10 premises, including convenience stores, bakeries, telecommunications shops, hypermarkets, and restaurants, were inspected.
“Six premises held valid business and advertisement licenses for 2026, while four premises failed to produce valid licenses,” the council stated on its Facebook page.
Of the seven compounds issued, two were under the Minor Laws (UUK) 3 for Business and Industrial Trade Licensing (MPK) 2007, three under UUK 3(1) for Food Establishment Licensing (MPK) 2007, and two under UUK 7 for Advertising (MPK) 2007.
MBDK emphasised that enforcement actions will continue to be strengthened and urged business owners to renew their licenses and comply with regulations to avoid legal action.
