SHAH ALAM, Feb 17 — Two areas in Kuala Selangor were inundated following continuous rain since last night.
The Kuala Selangor Municipal Council (MPKS) said as at 1pm, the locations affected were Jalan Kuala Selangor near the Avatar furniture store and Batu 22 in Ijok.
“The situation at both reported flooded locations is under control and vehicles can still pass through.
"Other areas around the Kuala Selangor district are also under control for the time being,” it said today.
MPKS said its Rapid Response Team (PANTAS) is conducting periodic patrol and monitoring of high risk areas, and is prepared for any eventuality.
"The public is urged to remain cautious and heed any directive issued by the authorities."
