SEREMBAN, Dec 10 — One man was killed and another injured after being shot by two men while they were in a car at Jalan Rasah-Mambau heading towards the Port Dickson Toll Plaza this morning.
Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said that two suspects on a motorcycle fired shots during the 7.30am incident, leaving a 43-year-old man dead and a 47-year-old man injured.
The 43-year-old man was confirmed dead while receiving treatment at the Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital.
“Preliminary investigations found that the two suspects fired several shots at the car window, hitting the two men inside.
“The motive for the incident is still being investigated,” he told Bernama.
Alzafny added that the injured man has 15 criminal records involving various offences, while the deceased had no criminal record.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code and Section 3 of the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971.
