KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 — Trading on Bursa Malaysia's derivatives market has halted today due to a system outage of the Globex electronic trading platform.
In a statement, the exchange said all derivatives products traded on Globex, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group’s electronic platform for global derivatives trading, were affected.
“We are actively managing the situation and working with CME Group to restore services as quickly as possible. Our priority is to minimise impact and ensure market integrity.
“We will continue to update all stakeholders,” the exchange said.
