SHAH ALAM, Nov 27 — The Ijok water gate station in Kuala Selangor was at danger level at 9.15am today.
The Selangor Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS) Info Banjir site showed the water level at 4.02m, which could cause flooding.
Three other stations in Kuala Selangor are at alert level, namely, Rantau Panjang (5.76m), Kampung Asahan (3.35m), and Parit Mahang (3.5m).
In Hulu Selangor, the water level at the SKC Bridge station was at alert level — 18.66m.
The Social Welfare Department (JKM) disaster information portal said that 15 temporary relief centres (PPS) have been opened in Selangor to accommodate 643 families displaced by floods.
Previously, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced that 750 families affected by floods in Selangor will each receive RM500 in aid from this week.
