KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 —Heavy rain has caused another slope to collapse, this time along Lorong Jugra Dalam at 4pm, about four kilometres from the first landslide at Taman United, Jalan Klang Lama.
Checks by Bernama indicated that a 10-metre-high slope next to Block D Sri Lempah Flats has collapsed, damaging a parked car. Firefighters from the Sri Petaling Fire and Rescue Station were on scene, monitoring the situation before taking further action.
The Fire and Rescue Department has yet to issue an official statement about the latest landslide at this time.
Residents from about 104 units from two apartment blocks in Taman United, Seputeh were ordered to evacuate in the morning following the first landslide.
