THIS year’s Ban Canal Carnival, held on November 8 and 9 in Sabak Bernam, was not just a festival of recreation, but a symbol of cultural unity and sustainable development.
From thrilling watersports to a padi field run that brought the community together, every moment reflected Sabak Bernam’s aspiration to become a Unesco Biosphere Reserve candidate.
Over 20,000 visitors enjoyed the exciting atmosphere and did their part to support green tourism and local entrepreneurs, who erected stalls to hawk food and agro heritage products.
