PUTRAJAYA, Oct 31 — The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exam, involving 413,372 candidates, will start November 3 and run until December 23 at 3,350 centres nationwide.
In a statement today, the Education Ministry (MOE) said the Bahasa Malaysia oral test will be held from November 3 to 6, followed by the English oral test from November 10 to 13.
“The Science practical test will take place from November 17 to 19, while the Bahasa Malaysia and English listening tests will be conducted on November 20,” the ministry said.
Written exams will be held from November 25 to December 23, with 127,526 invigilators and exam staff to run the SPM.
The MOE reminded all candidates to refer to the SPM timetable on the Examinations Board (LP) website for complete information on exam dates, times, paper codes and titles, as well as instructions to be followed throughout the exam period.
Candidates were also reminded to bring their identification documents and Examination Registration Slip to exam centres and comply with standard operating procedures and regulations.
“The ministry is mindful of the safety and welfare of candidates and exam personnel, especially in the event of emergencies such as natural disasters or the spread of influenza-like illness during the 2025 SPM exam period,” it said.
The MOE added that it is prepared with proper mechanisms and preventive measures, and is working closely with relevant agencies.
“Candidates are advised to immediately inform their schools or state education departments (JPN) if affected by any disaster. They may also contact the LP or JPN operations centres nationwide,” the statement said.
The MOE reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring SPM 2025 is conducted efficiently and in an orderly manner.
