PETALING JAYA, Oct 15 — The remains of a girl who was stabbed to death at a secondary school in Petaling Jaya yesterday were claimed by her family this morning.
Petaling Jaya police chief Shamsudin Mamat said the remains of the 16-year-old were claimed at 7.30am after a post-mortem at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre last night.
“Updates will be shared by Selangor police chief Datuk Sazeli Kahar during a press conference at 11.30am,” Shamsudin told Bernama when contacted.
Meanwhile, the 14-year-old male suspect arrived at the Petaling Jaya Court complex at 8.40am in a police patrol car.
It is understood that the remand application has been completed, and details will be revealed during the press conference.
In the 9.30am incident yesterday, a Form 4 female student was allegedly stabbed to death by a male student at a secondary school in Petaling Jaya.
She died at the scene.
