KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — A Form 4 girl is believed to have been stabbed to death by a male schoolmate at a secondary school in Petaling Jaya this morning.
Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Khalid Ismail said the attack occurred at about 9.30am at the school, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
He said the 14-year-old suspect, a Form 2 student from the same school, was arrested shortly after the incident.
“The motive for the incident is still under investigation, and further details will be provided by the Selangor police chief in due course,” he told reporters after officiating the Anti-Bullying Campaign here today.
Earlier today, media reports said a female student at a school in Petaling Jaya had died, allegedly after being stabbed by another student.
