PUTRAJAYA, Oct 6 — All 23 Malaysians participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) mission are scheduled to arrive home tomorrow night.

Sumud Nusantara Command Centre (SNCC) director-general Datuk Sani Araby Abdul Alim Araby said they will land at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 at 9.45pm.

“Alhamdulillah (God be praised), with the mercy of Allah, SNCC extends the announcement and invitation to all supporters and media friends to the Homecoming Welcome of the Heroes of Sumud Nusantara Malaysia," he said in a WhatsApp message tonight.

On Thursday (October 2), 23 Malaysians participating in the GSF mission were detained by Zionist regime forces after their ships were intercepted in the Red Zone waters of the Mediterranean Sea before being taken to the port of Ashdod, Israel.

All of them were reportedly freed from Israeli custody and departed from Ramon Airport in Israel at 6.45pm Malaysian time yesterday, before arriving in Istanbul, Turkiye at 8.40pm Malaysian time.

The detainees include singer Heliza Helmi and her sister Nur Hazwani Afiqah who were aboard the ship Hio, Nurfarahin Romli (Farah Lee), Danish Nazran Murad (Grande Blu), singer Zizi Kirana (Huga), as well as Musa Nuwayri, Iylia Balqis and Sul Aidil (Alma).

Also detained were Haikal Abdullah, Muaz Zainal, Zulfadhli Khiruddin, and Rusydi Ramli (Sirius), Razali Awang (Inana), influencer Nurul Hidayah Mohd Amin, better known as Ardell Aryana (Mikeno), and PU Rahmat, Norhelmi Ab Ghani, Mohd Asmawi Mukhtar, and Norazman Ishak (Estrella).

Similarly, Zainal Rashid and Ustaz Muhammad Abdullah (Fair Lady), while Muhammad Hareez Adzrami, better known as Haroqs; Muhd ​​Haikal Luqman Zulkefli, and Taufiq Mohd Razif were aboard the ship Free Willy.
