KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 21 — The number of flood victims at temporary relief centres (PPS) in Sabah decreased this morning, while in Sarawak, the number was unchanged.

PPS counted 439 people from 128 families this morning, from 892 people (273 families) yesterday evening.
The State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) in a statement said victims are housed at four PPS in Penampang, Membakut and Papar.
“The number of flood victims in Papar (126 people) and Penampang (121 people) showed a downtrend, while in Membakut, the number remained at 192 people,” it said.
It also said 53 villages — 24 in Penampang, 20 in Papar and nine in Membakut — are still flooded.
