KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 — Newly crowned mixed doubles world champions Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei continued their journey at the China Masters 2025 by checking into the last four today.

During the quarter-finals action at the Shenzhen Arena, the national number one pair and third seeds had to endure a rubber set game before eliminating Hong Kong’s fifth seeds Tang Chun Man-Tse Ying Suet, 21-12, 12-21, 21-17 in 61 minutes.

Standing in Chen-Toh's way next are home pair and second seeds Feng Yan Zhe-Huang Dong Ping, who thumped seventh seeds Guo Xin Wa-Chen Fang Hui 21-11, 21-12 in an all-Chinese affair.

Meanwhile, professional men’s doubles pair and third seeds Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani failed to reach the semi-finals after losing 16-21, 11-21 to Indonesia's duo Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

Fajar-Shohibul will next play either top seeds Kim Won Ho-Seo Seung Jae of South Korea or Japan's Takuro Hoki-Yugo Kobayashi tomorrow.
