SHAH ALAM, Sept 12 — RM67 million has been approved by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim so far for small projects and public infrastructure plans in Selangor this year.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the allocation covered four projects, including the Mesra Rakyat Project, with an allocation ceiling of RM44 million, and the Public/Basic Infrastructure Project (PINTAR), with a ceiling of RM4.5 million.
“Two more projects are the Madani Infrastructure Project (Prisma) and Prisma MOF, with allocation ceilings of RM6.5 million and RM12 million, respectively,” he said in his speech at the indent job offer letter handover ceremony at the menteri besar’s official residence here today.
Amirudin said the projects complete the Five-Year Development Plan (RMLT) and enhance the government’s image as they address the people’s needs.
“They also aim to provide basic facilities and infrastructure, demonstrating the government’s concern for the challenges faced by the people,” he said.
At the same ceremony, Amirudin presented laptops and certificates of appreciation to 22 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2024 top performers and one Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2024 student who achieved a cumulative grade point average of 4.00.
He said the contribution, through the Sejahtera Madani-Pendidikan: Bantuan Peranti Madani, was an initiative by the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department, in collaboration with Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd.
