SHAH ALAM, Sept 2 — KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM) will begin a new phase of domestic waste collection services in the Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) area.
This is after it was given seven-year contract to manage wastes in Kajang beginning September 1, 2025.
The state subsidiary said the new arrangement involves a realignment of collection zones and changes in appointed contractors, which may result in minor service disruptions during the early transition period.
“KDEBWM is taking proactive measures to ensure a smooth transition and to minimise disruptions,” it said in a statement yesterday.
The company advised residents to check its official channels for updated collection schedules that will be published soon.
For assistance, the public can contact the KDEBWM hotline at 1-800-88-2824, use the iClean Selangor mobile app, or visit its website and social media platforms.
The company also thanked Kajang residents for their support and cooperation, adding that it remains committed to delivering reliable and efficient waste collection services to maintain community cleanliness and well-being.
