PUTRAJAYA, Sept 2 — The National Water Services Commission (SPAN) has obtained the Integrated Management System (IMS) certification, covering three international standards.
The certification encompasses ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Corruption Management System (ABMS) and ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management System (ISMS).
In a statement today, SPAN said the certification is valid for three years, from May 17 this year until May 18, 2028.
“The certification not only benefits the commission but also strengthens the confidence of regulated parties and water service users in SPAN’s commitment to the highest standards of organisational management,” it said.
SPAN said that the implementation of the IMS served as an important foundation for its continuous efforts to strengthen governance, enhance service quality, and ensure professional and ethical management of information security.
