PUTRAJAYA, July 15 — The Digital Ministry today launched a national public survey via the Rakyat Digital portal to gather feedback on the country’s digital initiatives and transformation efforts.
The ministry in a statement said the feedback would be used to shape concrete actions for the mid-term review of the MyDigital Aspirations and to strengthen future strategies for a more resilient and inclusive digital ecosystem.
“Public participation in this survey is not merely about sharing views, but also making citizens partners in shaping a digitally capable Malaysia.
“This is aimed at ensuring that national digital policies truly reflect the needs and aspirations of the people and that all experience the benefits of digital transformation,” the statement read.
According to the ministry, the survey seeks to assess issues such as public and industry challenges in digital access and connectivity, digital literacy gaps and training needs, as well as the risks and opportunities of emerging technologies.
“This information will guide policy enhancements and the development of initiatives that directly address current realities, especially for underserved communities,” the statement added.
The ministry assured that all data collected from the survey will be handled with the utmost privacy and security.
“The survey only requests postcode information for general demographic analysis and not for personal identification,” it said.
All Malaysians are encouraged to take part in the survey.
