“In fact, some high-paying positions are being offered with salaries between RM6,000 and RM13,000 — for example, Carsome is offering RM13,000. This means the event is not only offering support roles but also executive positions or suitable roles for qualified job seekers,” he said.
Speaking after visiting the programme at Dewan Seri Siantan, Selayang, Amirudin said the majority of the job opportunities offered are located within Selangor.
“I believe this is a valuable opportunity, especially for the local community who are currently seeking employment,” he said.
The Menteri Besar added that the Selangor JobCare roadshow will continue in the Petaling district on May 24 at the Petaling Jaya City Council's Multi-Purpose Hall in SS3.
Previously, state executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication V. Papparaidu said the Selangor JobCare roadshow, which will cover nine districts, aims to offer over 40,000 job opportunities, including for disabled persons and ex-convicts.
