KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 — The National Geo-Economic Action Council (NGCC) will focus on strengthening the country’s response to global economic developments which encompass the tariff issue and Asean cooperation, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, said the Madani government is committed to further safeguarding the interest of Malaysians and Malaysian businesses.
“This morning I chaired the NGCC meeting. The main focus is to strengthen the country’s response to the current global economic developments, including the tariff issue and Asean cooperation.
“(It’s) a productive discussion to drive strategies and actions to fortify the national economy in facing global challenges,” he posted on social media today.
