SHAH ALAM, March 27 — Local e-hailing service GV Ride is offering free trips in Subang Jaya throughout April as part of its Free Rides Subang campaign.
The initiative follows overwhelming response for its earlier Free Rides Subang-Petaling Jaya-Kajang campaign launched by state executive councillor for trade, investment and mobility Ng Sze Han in February.
GV Car Ventures Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Kabeer Singh Maand said enthusiastic reception from the Subang Jaya community prompted the company to extend the offer exclusively for the area.
“This is our way of saying thank you to the people of Subang Jaya while promoting safer and higher-quality e-hailing.
“The Free Rides Subang campaign will run from April 1 to 30 as part of GV Ride’s ‘1 Million Free Rides Campaign’. which aims to get more people to experience our service,” he said.
To enjoy free rides, users must download the GV Ride app, register as passengers, and book rides within Subang Jaya.
“Each user gets one free ride per day, up to RM30, including toll charges. If the fare exceeds RM30, passengers cover the (excess),” Kabeer explained.
He added that the promotion is capped at RM500,000 and will end once funds are used up.
