SHAH ALAM, Dec 16 – Selangor Parti Keadilan Rakyat (Keadilan) Women’s Wing has expressed full support for Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari to remain at the helm of the state administration until the end of his term.
Its chief Rozana Zainal Abidin, said their stance aligns with the advice of Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj to ensure the state government continues to function effectively.
“This is crucial to maintain the state’s stability and harmony while ensuring the continuity of sustainable development.
“Selangor Keadilan Women’s Wing also believes this commitment will be firmly upheld together with the state executive council and other state assembly members,” she said in a statement yesterday.
Rozana further praised Amirudin for his exceptional leadership since 2018, particularly in economic management, introducing inclusive policies, and advancing infrastructure development for the benefit of the people.
This comes after speculation arose suggesting that Umno Supreme Council member Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz might join Keadilan soon and replace Amirudin’s leading role in the state.
However, Amirudin clarified on Saturday that the Selangor Ruler had advised him to continue governing the state until the end of his term to ensure stability and harmony in Selangor.
