Mohamed Khaled arrives in South Korea for five-day working visit

SEOUL, Sept 8 — Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin arrived in South Korea today to begin his five-day working visit.

Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport at 7.45am local time, the minister and his delegation from were welcomed by the Counsellor (Defence) of the Malaysian Embassy in Seoul Col Mohamad Nazri Ahmad.

Khaled’s visit aims at strengthening defence cooperation between both countries.

During the visit, he is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with the United Nations High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Nakamitsu Izumi, among others.

Khaled is also scheduled to visit the Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd and participate in the Seoul Defence Dialogue 2024 which, will be inaugurated by South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.
