SHAH ALAM, Sept 3 — A free health screening will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the Subang Jaya City Council Hall from 9am to 3pm.
State executive councillor for public health and environment Jamaliah Jamaluddin said the Selangor Saring event offers heart, high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney, cancer, eye, ear, and dental checkups.
In a Facebook post, she invited the public to attend the Selangor Saring programme, and urged the people to call Selcare at 1800-226-600 if they face issues with registration.
She said registrations can be made for Selangor Saring on the SELangkah app in four simple steps:
- Download the SELangkah app.
- Tap the Selangor Saring button on the app.
- Fill in the questionnaire.
- Choose a preferred location and date.
While tabling the Selangor Budget 2024, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced RM3.2 million to continue the free health screening programme.
Selangor Saring has been held in several constituencies, including Paya Jaras, Dengkil, Sungai Tua, Batu Tiga, and Pandamaran.
