BERANANG, Aug 15 — The police are seeking public help to locate a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing here on Monday.
Kajang police chief Naazron Abdul Yusof said a report about the disappearance of Raisya Rasyiqah Mohd Rashdan was lodged at 10.03pm on Monday.
“The teenager’s mother searched for her when she was late from school, and eventually found her in the Beranang area at 6.40pm on August 12.
“However, Raisya Rasyiqah refused to go home, and fled. The family is unsure whether she is being helped by friends or acquaintances,” he said in a statement today.
He described the girl as being of tan complexion, approximately 148cm tall, weighing 40kg, with an average build.
Raisya Rasyiqah was last seen in Beranang town wearing a police cadet T-shirt, dark blue track pants, a purple headscarf, and glasses.
Anyone with information on the missing teenager is urged to visit their nearest police station or contact the Kajang police headquarters at 03-8911 4222.
