KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — Sultan Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin have wished all Malaysian Buddhists Happy Wesak Day, today.
Their Royal Highnesses expressed their hope that the festival would be celebrated in harmony.
“May the celebration continue to be embraced in an atmosphere of tolerance, love, unity, and mutual respect among all the people of Malaysia,” said Their Royal Highnesses in a post on the Selangor Royal Office Facebook page.
