BANGKOK, Jan 11 — Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin met with Capital A Bhd chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes to discuss plans to increase air travel in Thailand and improve its position as a regional aviation hub.
Srettha posted on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter that, “We plan to increase inbound and outbound flights connecting major and secondary cities to stimulate the economy.”
Earlier this week, local media reported that Fernandes would meet Srettha to discuss foreign ownership limits for airlines in the kingdom.
