PETALING JAYA, Sept 21 — Parti Keadilan Rakyat (Keadilan) president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reminded all party members to remain steadfast and committed to uphold the Reformasi ideology and maintain the flame of desire within themselves.
Anwar, who is also the prime minister, said the party had gone through an era of struggles, trials and tribulations for the past 25 years and the voice of Reformasi championed by Keadilan can bring transformation to save the people and the country.
“I hope the pioneers of the reformation agenda and the young generation continue to enliven the spirit to save the people and the country and maintain the ideals of living together in unity to spur growth and development that can propel the country,” he said.
Anwar said this in a short video-clip that was telecast during the 25th Silver Jubilee Anniversary of the Reformasi and opening of the Selangor PKR’s premier annual general assembly of Cabang, Wanita and Angkatan Muda Keadilan, here, last night.
The anniversary programme was officiated by Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, who is also the Selangor Keadilan chairman.
Anwar registered his appreciation to Amirudin, who had organised the programme to remind and appreciate the struggles of the pioneer reformasi initiative.
