KUALA TERENGGANU, Dec 21 — Electricity supply in several areas affected by the floods in five districts in Terengganu has been restored as at 1am today.
Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Careline in a statement on its Facebook page said that the districts were Kuala Terengganu, Setiu, Kuala Berang and Besut as well as Bandar Al-Muktafi Billah Shah in Dungun.
"However, the power supply has to be cut in more areas in Dungun due to heavy rain and flooding.
“Efforts are being made to ensure power supply in the affected areas would be restored in stages depending on local conditions,” it said.
