MB determines to restore people’s lives, inspired by Selangor Sultan's concern

KLANG, Dec 11 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari along with the state administration leadership are determined to continue mobilising efforts to restore the current situation and people’s lives.

He said the concerns shown by His Royal Highness Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj towards the people’s welfare has become an inspiration to the state government in fronting the pandemic Covid-19 challenges and political landscape, especially after February 2020.

“People have expressed their worries and deep concerns in facing the crisis. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), the state government, helmed by the Sultan is determined to mobilise our efforts to restore the situation as well as the people’s lives.  

“His Royal Highness' concern towards the people’s welfare has become an inspiration to the state government to continue striving for the wellbeing of its citizens and state.

“I am determined to ensure that this state could recover stronger and help its people to bounce back from the pandemic and political uncertainties in recent years,” he said when delivering a loyalty speech to His Royal Highness Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj in conjunction with the sultan’s 77th birthday at Istana Alam Shah, here today. 

Amirudin was accompanied by state executive councillor for environment and green technology Hee Loy Sian and state executive councillor for socio-economy and community welfare V Ganabatirau.  

In conjunction with the Sultan’s birthday, His Royal Highness conferred state awards and medals to 104 recipients.
