SHAH ALAM, Nov 9 — The Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) won first place in the 2022 Best Sustainable City Awards for the Municipal Category, yesterday.
The local council said the award was organised in conjunction with the World’s Town Planning Day (WTPD) at the national level this year.
The event was officiated by the Secretary-General of the Housing and Local Council Ministry Datuk M Noor Azman Taib in Putrajaya.
“WTPD was organised to celebrate and appreciate the role of town planners in development, especially towards creating a quality and prosperous living environment.
“Following the achievement, may MPS remain a sustainable, progressive and prosperous city,” the local council said on Facebook, yesterday.
