SHAH ALAM, Nov 4 — Six roads around the 15th general election’s (GE15) candidate nomination centres for Shah Alam and Kota Raja will be closed to traffic, starting tonight.
Shah Alam District Police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the closure will be from 10pm to 5pm tomorrow (November 5) for the programme to be held at Shah Alam City Council Hall (MBSA), Section 19.
“The roads that will be closed off begin at Persiaran Jubli Perak from the direction of the roundabout towards Bulatan Megawati, Jalan Gelora 19/46, Jalan Nelayan A 19/A and Jalan Nelayan 19/B,” he said in a statement.
For Kota Raja, the programme will be held at Dewan MBSA Seksyen 32, and closed routes include Jalan Sungai Terap 32/173 and Jalan Kemuning Damai 32/151.
Road users are advised to use alternative routes, while local residents are advised to obey instructions of the officers on duty at the locations.
