JAKARTA, Nov 3 — Indonesia recorded 4,951 new confirmed Covid-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 6,507,610.
According to the Indonesia National Agency for Disaster Management data, 4,866 cases were classed as local transmissions while 85 were from overseas.
Jakarta province accounted for the highest number of cases at 1,823, followed by West Java province (694) and East Java province (681), amid rising daily cases.
The number of recoveries was 2,882 while a total of 42 deaths were reported over the past 24 hours up to noon today, raising the tally to 158,737.
