KLANG, Oct 28 — PKR will field15th general election (GE15) candidates which takes into account local factors and is able to achieve victory.
Selangor PKR council chairman Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said this was decided following discussions with the president (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) and deputy president (Rafizi Ramli).
“Tonight, the announcement on the full lineup of PKR GE15 candidates will be made, so I am not in a position to announce it now. However, as mentioned previously the main strategy is to win, and we believe in quality candidates with good performance.
“The discussions with the president and deputy president took into account local factors that can bring victory, as Selangor is a very open state where everyone can serve,” he said.
Amirudin was speaking at fter the launch of the Smartbox system developed by the Selangor Land and Mines Office, at the Klang District and Land Office earlier today.
Tonight, Anwar will announce the list of candidates running for GE15 at Padang Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya in Taman Kosas, Ampang, starting at 8.30pm.
