KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 — The 20th edition of the Malaysia Games (Sukma) Special Technical Committee has postponed the weightlifting competition to tomorrow (September 20). It was originally scheduled to commence today.
In a brief statement issued late last night, the decision was made in a meeting chaired by the director-general of the National Sports Council (MSN) Datuk Ahmad Shapawi Ismail and attended by all representatives of the state sports councils.
In this edition of Sukma, weightlifting competition is scheduled to take place at the Kompleks Kejiranan Presint 11, Putrajaya, for four days with a total of 16 gold medals up for grab.
