GOMBAK, May 16 — The Hari Raya Aidilfitri open houses organised by the Selangor government in Gombak tonight had attracted more than 1,500 visitors.
The event that started at 8pm at the Taman Melawati Ramadan Bazaar site was attended by Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari and his wife Datin Seri Masdiana Muhamad.
His arrival was welcomed by Selangor State Secretary Dato’ Haris Kasim, Gombak district officer Norazlina Abdul Aziz and Selangor State Legislative Assembly Speaker Ng Suee Lim.

Also present were Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI chief executive officer Norita Mohd Sidek and Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) president Mohd Yazid Sairi.
During the event, Amirudin also presented ‘duit raya’ donations to the children who were present.
Visitors were served a variety of dishes including kambing golek, ayam golek, ketupat, lemang, laksa, nasi beriani, satay and local fruits.
