SHAH ALAM, Jan 12 — Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI prepared a RM27,000 allocation for nine of its employees affected by the flooding last month.
Chief executive officer Norita Mohd Sidek said MBI had donated RM3,000 to each affected employee to help reduce their burden.
"We also provided food and necessities. MBI subsidiary company Bukit Beruntung Golf Resort Sdn Bhd donated mattresses, blankets, and pillows to the victims," she said when met after handing over the donation at the Darul Ehsan Building earlier today.

Norita said MBI also formed a volunteer team to help clean flood-affected houses.
"Thank you to the volunteer team. I did not expect many employees to turn up to help their affected colleagues. I hope this spirit will continue," she said, adding the team was joined by 30 employees.
Meanwhile, one of the recipients, Asyraf Azman, said the donation would be used to repair his car and purchase new furniture.
Asyraf, who lives in Kampung Sri Aman, Puchong, also thanked his employer for the continuous support and help during challenging times.
"Assistance from other colleagues is also highly appreciated. I cannot afford to clean the house, it is a tough job to do, and I did not know where to start," he said.
