Sungai Langat breaches danger level

SHAH ALAM, Jan 3 — The water level at Sungai Langat in Bukit Changgang, Kuala Langat has exceeded the danger level (red) when it registered 4.34 metres as of 10.30am this morning.

Based on information obtained through publicinfobanjir.water.gov.my report, the reading is above the normal level at 4.20m. The 0.14m increase was due to rain in the area.

Meanwhile, the water level at Sungai Langat in Dengkil, Sepang was at the alert point of 6.68 metres which is an increase of 0.28m. The increase in water level was also due to rain.

This morning, the site reported that as of 6.45am, the Sungai Langat area in Bukit Changgang, Kuala Langat was at the danger level when the water level rose to 4.29 meters while Sungai Langat in the Dengkil, Sepang area was at the warning level with the water level at 7.07 metres.
