Avoid burning post-flood waste as we will collect it, MPKL tells residents

SHAH ALAM, Dec 30 — The Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MPKL) has requested the public to refrain from burning post-flood cleanup waste.

In a Facebook post, the local council said it is currently carrying out garbage collection operations with KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM).

“MPKL wishes to remind residents to not burn post-flood waste including furniture, mattresses, electrical items, among others.

"Together with KDEBWM, we will remove the post-flood waste in stages," it said.
