SHAH ALAM, Dec 28 — Some 14 temporary relief centres (PPS) are still open in Shah Alam, involving 1,343 flood victims as of yesterday.

Shah Alam district police chief ACP Baharudin Mat Taib said the PPS also include two new locations, namely Masjid Al Munawwarah Section 27, and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Alam Megah 2.

He said three PPS were closed yesterday, including Dewan Kenangan Section 28, Intekma Persiaran Raja Muda, and Kelas Al-Quran and Fardhu Ain (Kafa) Masjid Al-Faiizin.

“We also received 726 police reports on the flooding, adding on to the cumulative 12,725 reports.

“For flood victims’ convenience, we also accept police reports made at mobile police stations, multi-purpose vehicles, Motorcycle Patrol Units and Crime Prevention Patrol Units,” Baharudin said in a statement yesterday.
