MBSA: Selangor crown prince joins mission to save flood victims

SHAH ALAM, Dec 20 — The Raja Muda of Selangor was one of the participants in the mission to rescue flood victims in the Kampung Baru Hicom area today.

In a Facebook post, Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) said Tengku Amir Shah took part in the mission alongside the Malaysian Army 10th Parachute Brigade.

Also present was Shah Alam Mayor Dato’ Zamani Ahmad Mansor.

MBSA also announced it received donations of 5,000 loaves of bread from Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd, as well as basic necessities from the public and volunteers joining up to distribute items to flood victims.

Yesterday, the local authority distributed items including cooking oil, biscuits, mineral water, disposable diapers, and sanitary pads to flood victims at the temporary relief centre at Dewan Dahlia inSection 24 here.
