SUBANG JAYA, Oct 6 — The Sunway Lagoon theme park will reopen tomorrow, in line with the loosenings under Phase Three of the National Recovery Plan (NRP).

Sunway Theme Parks executive director Calvin Ho said the 88-acre theme park will operate in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and visitors capacity is limited to 50 per cent.

“We already have high-security procedures in place during the recent temporary closure and have improved the existing standard operating procedures (SOPs).

"Apart from frequently sanitising high-touch points, as well as limiting rides and certain attractions, public huts that accommodate large groups are now converted into private cabana huts," he said.

Ho said this after monitoring the implementation of the SOPs and the launch of the Selangor Tourism Voucher 2.0 at Sunway Lagoon here yesterday.

Calvin said in conjunction with the reopening of the theme park, they also introduced a ‘Camp Out! at Sunway Lagoon’ as their new attraction.

“We understand that many visitors long to spend quality time with their families in a safer and more secure open space.

"This activity is a continuation of the ‘Best Day Ever’ experience (the most beautiful day ever) to visitors from morning to the next day," he said.

The promotional package is priced at RM598 for two people while members (RM418).

The package includes entrance tickets, BBQ dinner, breakfast and a food voucher worth RM10.
