SHAH ALAM, Aug 13 — A total of 2.19 million individuals in Selangor, or 46.1 per cent of the adult population, have been fully vaccinated as of today.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the total number of vaccine doses delivered in the state is at 5.87 million under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).
Out of the total figure, 3.67 million involved those who have received their first jab.
“Under Selvax (Selangor Vaccination Programme), an additional 276,926 doses have been administered,” he said in a Twitter post today.
Earlier, the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) in an infographic stated that Selangor’s vaccination rate stands at 112,858 out of the total 525,342 doses recorded nationwide as of yesterday.
