SHAH ALAM, July 15 — Malaysia recorded an all-time high of 13,215 Covid-19 daily cases today, which is almost a jump in 2,000 cases compared to the 11,618 infections registered yesterday.
This brings the cumulative total in the country to 880,782.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on a Facebook post today stated that Selangor remains with the highest number of cases among the states with a total of 6,120 cases, compared to the 5,051 infections reported yesterday.
This is followed by Negeri Sembilan with 1,603 cases, Kuala Lumpur (1,499), Kedah (695) and Johor (599).
The number of cases recorded in Penang is at 509, Melaka (484), Sabah (370), Sarawak (363), Perak (344), Kelantan (255), Pahang (222), Terengganu (70), Putrajaya (53), Labuan (26), and Perlis (3).
