244 Unisel staff sign corruption-free pledge

SHAH ALAM, April 6 — A total of 244 academic and administrative employees of the Universiti Selangor (Unisel) took their corruption-free pledge (IBR) on Thursday.

Its Vice-Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohammad Redzuan Othman said the programme reflects the commitment by the institution in response to the call by the government and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to ensure its employees is free from corruption.

“It is not merely pledge-reading but it must be valued and practised to ensure that Unisel becomes more successful in the future.

“Integrity should be the foundation in executing a duty and responsibility as an employee,” he said in a statement.

The pledge reading ceremony was held at the Dewan Canselor Unisel in Bestari Jaya, led by Dr Mohammad Redzuan, and was witnessed by Selangor MACC director, Datuk Alias Salim.
