SINGAPORE, Feb 7 — Two Malaysians were among 26 new Covid-19 imported cases reported in Singapore on Saturday, according to the republic’s Ministry of Health.
The ministry, in its full data released here late last night, said both cases, a 38-year-old man and 35-year-old woman, are work permit holders who arrived from Malaysia.
As at noon Saturday, there were no new cases of locally transmitted cases reported here, all imported, thus bringing the total number of infections here to 59,675.
Of the 26 new imported cases, 25 were asymptomatic while the only symptomatic case was the Malaysian woman.
The other imported cases were from Bangladesh, Gabon, India, Indonesia, Germany, Myanmar, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
A 39-year-old Singaporean man who returned from Malaysia is also among the asymptomatic imported cases here.
Singapore has three clusters remaining at the moment.
