JOHOR BAHRU, Feb 2 — Paloh assemblyman Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali today confirmed that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
He said that he underwent a swab test at the Kluang district health office at 11.30 am on Sunday after having body aches, before receiving the results at 5 pm.
“I don’t have a fever, just felt uncomfortable. After that I lost my sense of taste. I found out my positive result at 5pm, and I’m still at home waiting for further instructions from doctors,” he said when contacted last night.
Sheikh Umar had previously shared the news of his Covid-19 positive status in a posting on his Facebook account and asked for people to pray for his speedy recovery.
