TOKYO, Oct 1 — Trading has been halted in all shares listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Thursday morning and on other bourses in Japan due to a problem with the system, reported Xinhua news agency, quoting the Japan Exchange Group Inc.
The Tokyo bourse said it has identified a glitch when it comes to transmitting trading data and receiving trading orders and cannot confirm when trading will resume.
Tokyo bourse's off-hours trading will also be halted, officials said, adding that trading has also been suspended at bourses in Sapporo, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
