KLANG, July 9 — Southeast Asia’s first and biggest toy and baby product supplier, GM International Exhibition (M) Sdn Bhd (GMIE), has opened at shopping paradise, GM Klang Wholesale City.

Located at level 5, Block B it has 10,000 product samples for retailers and businesses to choose from with prices that are far lower as it is a trusted intermediary for manufacturers, even offering door-to-door shipping.

“About 70 per cent of the products come from China and the rest from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.

“With the display at GMIE, retailers and businesses can see the products themselves, get more information about them and test them before making a purchase,” GM Klang promotions and advertising manager, Norsuhaida Othman, told Bernama yesterday.

The products include electronic and outdoor games, toy figures, dolls and strollers, with the quality a top priority for GMIE.

With the services provided by GMIE, retailers and businesses need not worry about ordering the products from abroad themselves, thus they save time, effort and money.

Norsuhaida said GMIE also provides original equipment manufacturer (OEM), special order and import/export services.

“For those who are just entering the business world, GMIE can help with an understanding of minimum order amounts.

“What is important, though, is that the business buying from GMIE is registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM),” she said.

GMIE is open daily from 10am – 7pm, but for busy people, there is also an online product catalogue at gmie.com.my.
