NEW YORK, May 19 — The number of Covid-19 cases in the United States topped 1.5 million on Monday, reaching 1,500,753 as of 4.03 pm (2003 GMT), reported Xinhua news agency, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
Meanwhile, the national death toll of Covid-19 rose to 90,312, according to the CSSE.
