SHAH ALAM, April 6 — The Selangor government has launched a public survey to study the impact of ‘gotong-royong’ and keeping the environment clean during the movement control order (MCO).

Selangor Health, Welfare, Women Empowerment and Family Executive Committee chairman Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said the survey also aims to facilitate the Selangor Health Department on dengue control and prevention.

"The objective of the survey is to look at the effects of MCO and gotong-royong at home in order to contain the dengue cases in the state," she said in a statement via her official Facebook account yesterday.

The survey form can be found at https://forms.gle/qn94amW7kdMGf5sS9 and it is open to permanent residents in Selangor.

Dr Siti Mariah on April 3 said that dengue cases in Selangor had dropped and that there were no deaths reported as of last month.

However, she advised the public to take advantage of the order period to clean up their surroundings.
